Mending

After years of teaching—researching, writing assignments, grading; student advising, faculty meetings, committee meetings, writing memos, and the slew of odd requests for lengthy input; and writing numerous presentations for conferences, I retired and could finally catch up on the various home tasks that had accumulated.

 

Mending and darning favorite shirts and socks was one of them. But of course I had to exercise a little creativity as I went along.
